Okay. before you view this. forgive me. it was really late at night. that's really all i can say.....

Good News!!

Real Life

Alright. i will admit it. i spent my weekend watching the Twilight trilogy and i finished the last one today. and yes, i am excited to see the fourth one (part one). :)
now its time to get back to real life. wouldn't it be nice though if you could just have a script for life?
"here, say this when that really cute boy walks by. the romantic music we'll start, you'll both go into slow motion, and love will just fall from the sky and hit you both on the head." wow. that would be easy :)
but life is about enjoying the awkward moments, making the mistakes you feel you might regret for the rest of your life that you usually tend to forget about a week later.... and of course becoming who you want to be by experience...
we have a script i guess you could say. the gospel is mine. its just a little more vague than printed lines. but i like it that way.

its been a good day. i woke up a little later than i had planned, but i feel like i made up for it by being ambitious and getting work done. it feels like its been a productive day.
:) i am happy. i love talking about the gospel and i love studying it.
I wish luck to my three friends who entered the MTC today!! Elders: Carson Wilde (Philippines) , Cooper Urmston (Russia), and Nate Harper(Russia)!!! Go serve boys!! you guys will all make awesome servants of the Lord!!! :D

First 2 weeks at BYU-Hawaii

DISCLAIMER: i'm not very good at making videos yet so... its kinda boring a little.

YAY!

YAY! I have a new room and roommate!!! :D but hey i need to clarify something. I think we just started out on the wrong foot or something cause i think my old roommate is really cool. i think i was just tired and stressed and she was crazy and hyper and didn't talk to me really and it just was all not a good combination. my new roomie is sweet tho. shes from cali, she's tall, tan, blonde, and gorgeous. so obviously I'm a little jealous of her. but shes pretty cool so its good :)
so i have survived my first week as a college freshman!! yay for being alive! i only cried once this week too!! yay for not crying too much! now the stuff you've all been waiting for.... the pictures. :)

Finally Here

i create this post from the beautiful campus of BYU hawaii. yes, the real thing. i don't know how i'm supposed to do this without getting a loan... its stressing me out already and school hasn't even officially started yet. i don't know...
anyway! i am absolutely loving the campus, the people are so nice! i have already made 2 friends! yay! one is a very sweet little blonde girl, and the other a small japaneese girl who speaks very good english for only being here 4 days :) they're cool i decided.
so far i still don't have a place to live. things are not going as planned in that area... it looks like i'm going to have to settle for off campus housing. the only problem is i don't like any of it :P
oh well. i'll get pictures up when i have my place all set up but for now i must leave you with just a few words.

I cried for the first time today for college. Change is hard. This is weird.

i was getting ready to end my run too!

it was pretty much the greatest trip. we were able to help two families who will now have a home to live in. its the greatest feeling to be able to be immersed in service for a week. i have to be honest though, i wish almost every day that i could go back. it was so amazing.

So lets start with the beginning of the hike. kay this was about 30 minutes in but its the beginning-ish. this is the top view of the wall we had to repell down (about 20-30 feet)

COOLEST THING EVER!!! So Sam and Alex and I had gone down under the "waterfall" after checking out the Anasazi house next to the cave wall. As we started walking back up to rejoin the rest of the group i looked to my left and noticed an odd hallow hole. i bent down to check it out and sure enough that big white pot was what made the hole! as we uncovered the pot we found piece after piece of ancient Anasazi pottery!!! :D gosh it was so cool!!!

then we had to put everything back :( sadly we're not allowed to take any of it. which makes sense ya know... but still...
