This Boy...

Looks like he's gonna be a keeper :)
So we've got a bit of a story here... I can give you the short and sweet version.
Once upon a time there was a girl who was REALLY determined to go on a mission. She even left her boyfriend of 8 months back in Hawaii with a lock on her heart and a promise to wait until she returned for their beautiful fairy tale wedding. One day this girl decided to stop being so stinkin' set in her ways and got on her knees to pray and find out what God would have her do.... Well, the most beautiful and sweet spirit of peace and affirmation filled my heart. Tears came to my eyes and I knew this would be a great decision. Now telling this to Fernando was the really hard part... NOT. He was ecstatic to hear that I would not be leaving him for a period of 18 months and that instead we would be married in the house of the Lord. Yay!
I am so so so happy and this whole experience has taught me a lot about using the Lords will as your compass. And also being a little flexible to sudden and dramatic changes in "your plan".

Back in Hawaii!

It's good to be back on the island. The weather is lovely.... kind of... I'm still getting used to the heat and constant humidity so the only time I'm not a sweaty mess is when i'm sitting in front of my fan.
I'm in a new place, it's lovely. I'm finally off campus and out of the Hales, the place it tiny, but it's very tolerable :) well watch the video and I'll show you!
I'm pretty happy.
He's a great guy and I love being with him. We do all kinds of fun things together, but we love going on bike rides and racing.... which is generally problematic since neither of us have BMX bikes the chains often fall off after little provocation and we both end up rolling down the street until we're finally moving slow enough to jump off. It's an adventure.
We also love taking pictures, but we're both weirdos ;)
ya. we're weird i know.
